As much as we enjoyed this event I must say that the struggle we endured to get out of the "back forty" left a bad taste. The rain was predicted all week so I feel like something should have been done ahead of time to ensure that even people without four-wheel drives could get out without the assistance of the tractor ... more

I never thought a wool coat would feel good at Resaca, but it did Sunday. We had a great time and a lot of hard work went into making this one of the best Resaca events ever. Thank you to the event staff for all your hard work. Mike "Tiny" Shuttles Marshall's Tennessee Battery

Hello all. I was wondering if you can send me any pictures 2009 reenactment? Thanks David

Girl with BillygoatTom Thompson, Tue May 19 11:35
Thanks to all for a great weekend (except the weather). I took some photos at the sutlers and there was a girl with a billy goat pulling a wagon. She gave me her e-mail, but I can't find it. If anyone knows the girl, please give her my address as I told her I would send the photo. Thanks. 1Lt. Tom Thompson Rambos' Boys

Portable ToiletsDennis Cook, Tue May 19 09:35
Had a great time at Resaca. Battles were great both days. Only disappointment were Portable Toilets for Army of the Gulf. Two were just not enough and it would have helped if they had been cleaned and emptied both days. Disgusting!

Compliments to staffJohn Nash Jr, Tue May 19 07:23
As many will say I appreciate the work and effort by the staff to organize the best Resaca yet. Even with the rain and wind our units had a great time. Thank you again.

On behalf of the entire Federal Army I would like to pass along a big thank you to the Division for a great weekend. Your hard work on this years event did not go unnoticed. The battles on both days were some of the best I have been involved in at Resaca. Thank you again. Earl Zeckman Commanding Federa Forces at Resaca

Tom Wallingron neale, Thu May 7 13:21
I think it would be nice if they included Tom Walling on this years dedication. He died there on the battlefield at resaca in 2000 he was a good soldier and drummer for the 8th/16th tennessee regt. we still miss him today. This weekend I will dedicate to Tom Walling and those mentioned! RN

So is there going to be an "assault" on Van De Corput's battery or is it just a Friday night "commemoration" of the assault on Van Den Corput's Battery. I am hearing 2 different versions.
