I live in Miho from 1948 to 1950. I remember the one room school house. The teacher was Miss Virginia Sullivan. I remember the PX train that came monthly, and the commissary train that came weekly from Osaka. When the Korean war started we were sent to Camp Hakata near Fukuoka when a B-26 outfit moved in. Dad went to... more

I'd love to track down a few friends that I ran around with at Tachikawa during the period 1960-62 when I was in Junior High School. We got into significant mischief back in the day ! Does anyone know Steve Stuckey, Dickie Turner, Bruce Reibe, or Steve Andrews?

We lived at 328-B, from '66-'69. Awesome great time, would not have traded for the world. Never appreciated the experience until I was older and have the opportunity to share with all the other military Brats who grew up there.

I lived at Ashiya from 1953 to 1955. Went to 2nd and 3rd grade there. I think my second grade teacher was Miss Case. What I remember the most is the sandbagged foxholes beside our quarters and the occasional air raid drills. It was a great place to live at that age.
