Lyra Common Room

Lyra House attracts the more artistically inclined RMI students. The Lyran mascot is the woodpecker, and the House colours are deep brown and sea green. The common room has a large fireplace, comfortable chairs of all descriptions scattered about, and a large mural on one of the walls, courtesy of Lyran alumni. The students are usually very artistic in one from or another, resulting from personalities that are in control and clear thinking, although they often crave attention.
