Springs and Bushings etc. — mlammers, Thu Jul 2 12:02pm
I have an 1988 FJ62. The ride is ok. I have a lot of vibration at higher speed (60+ mph). A washboard road, vibrates the truck apart. My question is will replacing the springs and bushings etc. help? I know that the bushing are trashed. The springs are not original, but not sure of age. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have an '84 FJ60 with 90K miles. While driving a while back it started losing power - had to pump the accelerator like crazy to maintain about 25 mph. Problem was intermittent and now it won't start unless I pour gas into the carb. It then idles around 1600 rpm and can't adjust. After turning it off it won't start... more

can any tell me how to make my flashers (hazards) work, the prevoise owner rewire the turn signal an the hazards dont work. is there a way that i can wire it...will just running wire to the switch then to the fasher then to the front & rear lights work?? Thank You!!! (its a 1977 fj40)

I have a 1989 FJ62 and recently my knee broke the window lock button off. Unfortunately, the automatic windows (except the driver side) will no longer go down. Is there a way to "override" the lock? Or has anyone done a repair like this? Thanks! Carlton

how can a radiator cap cause overheating? have 13 pound cap on. runs 210-240^. removed thermostat and ran without it..runs 195^ thermostat is NEW.. 160^. removed old one, it was a 175^. both thermostats work fine. cant figure this one out. water pump is good, radiator is good. nothing comes out of the block drain... more
