power sterring resistance — bo, Fri Mar 12 4:08pm
I have a '75 FJ40 with aftermarket saginaw that PO installed. The wheels are tight but there is NO resistance to turning which is fine when crawling but a bit harry on the highway. Any thoughts on how to make this safer? Thanks!

Im wanting to know if i can put a 1974 gauge cluster in my 1969 fj40. I know that the speedo cable is differnt but i assume a diffent cable would do the trick but wasnt sure about the wiring part. Thanks!

i have an 88 fj62, with blown motor but everything else is good. my brother has a 95 40th anniversary cruiser and hit a tree, he gave it to me. I want to put his motor,maybe drivetrain in my 88. im an ammature at best with working on vehicles. What surprises should i expect, and can this be done.

Hi we have an fj40 1974, can we fit later model (1981 we think) fj45 doors on this. So the original is a lever door handle, the replacement is the recessed pull handle. thanks, Robert

I just got some new ambi door glass seals and wanted to know if I should use silicone in the slot where the glass inserts into the rubber? I installed one and it just seems like water will easily penetrate between the glass & rubber. It also seems like they are cut to big. It was very easy to install the rubber around ... more

Could anyone tell me what I would need to do a V8 conversion. I want to keep the stock 4 speed trans and stock transfer. I'm thinking of going with a 283 c.i. I'm also thinking of replacing 4.11 gears with 3.73. Thank you in advance. '78 FJ40 2F

I'm ordering a complete rear sill w/ channel for my 76 fj40 and I noticed that the back side of the sill has a epoxy undercoat applied to it. I really like the look of it and am curious what product that is. I want to match a few other parts to it.. Is it in a aerosol can? Is it made by 3m?? Thanks for your time.

Hi all, I have a 40/45 tailgate in GREAT condition for sale. Has most hardware except one latch is missing. All three hinges are in great condition w/ new metric bolts. I sold my 40 and bought a longbed 45 and never had the opportunity to put it on my 40. I'm at 95819 and have pics. Thanks. $400

Funny thing is, when I "JUST" hook up my positive red lead to the blade on the sending unit, I get a good reading BUT when my tank goes below half full, it reads all over the place.
