I have a 1994 fj80 and the trans doesn't seem to want to shift from a dead stop and seems to have problems getting going but once its going its fine. any ideas?

I have a '66 FJ40, and I found a 4.7 v8 from an '02 Tundra with only 72000 miles. Wondering if anyone has ever put one of these in an FJ40, or if there are any conversion kits out there for this. Thanks for any info.

I bought a HJ-45 with a 1" lift. I know nothing about this. Reading the below article has raised my level of concern. Should I correct the angle with this small amount of lift??? Thanks in advance !

I bought a hfs 4 in lift for my 78 fj 40 i have all stock drivetrain purchased in 2006 , I have finally got to drive it yes 6 years later with no top it rides rough and has a drive line vibration i was told by ccot that i didnt need to modify the drive shaft . has any one had this problem or do i need to modify /... more


FJ-80 EFI relay — john, Thu Apr 19 2:44pm
I have a 1991 fj-80. The EFI relay blows/burns out every ten months or so. Started 6 years go. I keep spares in the glove box and when the truck dies or doesn't start, I pop in a new one. What would cause this? I don't have any issues with any thing else. Thoughts?

I installed a HEI distributor fro E bay and I cannot believe the difference that it's makes. Increased horsepower, better gas mileage and a felling of get out and go that I didn't experience with the points ignition. Am impressed.
