ignorance and misogyny... Clearly, he thinks that women are best kept barefoot and pregnant... His remarks about blacks weren't racist, but simply ignorant... he claimed that none of the blacks that HE knew seemed angry about life as it was... Not that blacks are inferior or belonged in shackles... Yes, he sees no reason for all the fuss over 'equality' because 'no one was mad'... but that doesn't mean that he hates anyone, just that he was fully indoctrinated that blacks were content with their lot in life... (ridiculous, of course, but SOME may have been so complacent and whipped that they appeared to be??)
