the target throws a mud pie at random people wandering by and then sticks its tongue out, challenging you to hit it, but then is able to move from where it was to somewhere else so that you can't hit it? It's an unscrupulous game that's not tolerated even at cheap, traveling carnivals... but, where there are very few laws against it, it always works to frustrate the players & passersby until they are so angry that they'll pay the game owner more and more to have another shot at it... It's the oddest game booth because there are NO 'hanging prizes' to win... but yet, it's always crowded by people playing... until they eventually turn away in disgust, that is...

However, if the carnival sticks around long enough, sooner or later the game owner is crying 'foul' because there are so many players lined up, throwing all at once, instead of one at a time, that the target always seems to get hit by SOMEONE who figures out the pattern that dictates where the next hiding place they will pop out of will be...

I sometimes imagine that same carnival game on BBs... and it is inevitable that the same bratty little target will eventually get caught at its own game... When I hear it become all asqueal over being hit every few minutes by gangs of annoyed players totally sick of the underhanded technique that they work together/gang up so that everyone still playing takes a different hole to fire at, ensuring a hit!... By then, the prize is recognized as simply getting to see SOMEONE make the shot with their throw...

and the beat goes on...
