What makes you think that the market, free or otherwise, would be magically immune from the effects of the tax burden?

People who substitute left wing "religious doctrine" for an introductory level understanding of economics, and allow it to blind them from seeing simple, fundamental cause and effect relationships, should not be calling others "doofuses".
