Short of actual offboard attacks on someone by another poster, or serious threats against them, there's NO excuse for taking this stuff off-board, EVER.

If I were running a board, that would be rule #1. 'ANY off-board threats and you are gone. I don't care what anyone said to you, you're history.'

SES may be an asshole, but mere insults are NOT grounds for threats against someone's life or job (can be the same thing, especially these days).

Inexcusable, IMO. Good reason to stay away, if this place is continuing to be THIS bad. And they call me cranky...
