I will toss you this bone, though: the situation with that person in Australia not only occurred after six months of relentless stalking, impersonating me on several boards (and posting incredibly vulgar things under my name), and - more to the point - after issuing an explicit threat of violence. That really threw me, as it was issued via private email. A "throwaway" account (untraceable to my physical address and under a false name), to be sure, but one I'd never given him. I thought "okay, that threat is undoubtedly blustering bullshit (and I'm not an easy target), but this guy's pretty good. Time to get serious."

So I started setting up the rather complicated steps needed to trace a proxy...but only about a week later, he screwed up and posted from work, and forgot to enable the proxy. Game over...but he got off light.

No way that SES assclown came even close to that guy...and no way I'd have ever actually gone through with it. Unfortunately, now he knows that...so I have little doubt the bullshit will resume forthwith. Thanks a fucking lot...but hopefully he'll go after you, instead.
