We live in a new age, an information age, which transcends antiquated laws of nations and many Anons strongly believe that all citizens of the world have the right to exist anonymously if they so choose.

Day to day there are also more mundane and pragmatic reasons also.

We have obstructed repression through-out the world.

We have exposed corrupt judges and members of parliament, in the Ukraine for example, for their roles in child pornography and human sexual slavery.

'Security forces' in Libya have been given incorrect information leading them into ambushes by their citizens fighting for their freedom.

Former generals in Egypt have discovered they were unable to communicate to their troops in the field oppressing their citizens.

Military leaders around the globe have had their secrets of torture and murder exposed for all to see.

Officials in China may find their attempts at internet censorship have been thwarted, allowing hundreds of millions of people to access an internet free of their control.

Brutal soldiers in Libya have their communications broadcast to the Free Syrian Army, allowing the FSA to protect innocent civilians.

We are Anonymous for many reasons, but most importantly to most Anons, because we are an idea whose time has time. The idea is not about individuals, it is about all of us.
