....Is there a news article "out there" that states categorically that the NSA is in fact monitoring every call? Probably not. But, as the article I submitted and others like it have pointed to, the NSA is monitoring, or in other words, availing itself to, all forms of communication to Meta-mine those communications for information. In order to do this effectively they have to avail themselves, or monitor, every call. That they don't have the capacity or capability to "monitor" the trillions of communications daily does not matter. That they can avail themselves, or monitor, every call and do is.

Think about this. What benefit do they get if they avail themselves, or monitor, 30% of the available information? Even 50%? They have to be able to avail themselves, or monitor, 100% of the communications "out there."

Common sense.
