Your apparent homophobia suggests it's a 'negative trait,' but what if it's being selected FOR? What if human overcrowding, violence, crime, pollution, etc. are selecting AGAINST reproduction?

Granted, it could be a non-genetic trait, in which case selection won't likely play a role.
