Go and check the ship manifests on the Ellis Island how many people came to this country who did not have permission to come here and stayed here!

My grandfather came here in 1910 and was NOT held at Ellis Island and was NOT deported. In doing genealogy on my family, I found out he was not
naturalized until 1938...only two years before he died.
