They were capable leaders beloved by many, whatever their personal flaws, and their assassinations weakened this country.

True, the media didn't feel that politicians' private lives needed to be public knowledge, as a rule. I'm OK with that, within bounds, as long as the media go after actual criminal behavior.

Going after Clinton for fooling around with an intern was an example of something that shouldn't have been public knowledge, but it was used to bring him to impeachment....even if he DID make it easier by lying about it.
