He does what he does purely for shock value. His work has NO redeeming value whatsoever in any socially meaningful manner.

Now, I don't think he acutally creates additional homophobia. I just think that he continues to show that hollywood types are assholes and have no sense of respect for anyone except themselves.

I think he needs to have the crap kicked out of him to remind him that he is indeed human.
