... not the people. We are sharply divided ... because we have no leadership. Obama is trying to force his goals on the people instead of trying to lead the people into defining and agreeing upon a set of common goals, and his inexperienced and invasive tinkering is just making things worse.

Were he wise, he would be asking questions instead of forcing answers. He is a "one-size-fits-all solution looking for a problem" ... a problem that he does not fully understand.

Of course, the Democrats have never had a monopoly on stupidity ... the Republicans are equally pitiful and inept.

Everyone is picking up their little play dishes, stomping their booties, and huffing off in a pout ... and we are paying these people to represent us? What fools we are. Shame on us, We The People.

Reminds me of the Israelites wandering aimlessly in the desert for 40 years.

Board dynamics provide a great study of micro-sociology. There are heros who rise, then later become unpopular ... but a good one-liner can spring them back into viability. There are the meek, who, when pushed too far, become and remain bitter and caustic. There's always a clown or two who drown their sorrows behind their masks of humor. The dark grumbler who has a dismal outlook on everything. And, let us not forget the sycophant sheep who march in supporting or opposing lockstep with or against the reigning propagandists who spew forth the latest, most sensational propaganda.
