I don't see any difference in the world war/peace situation as compared to a year or two before.

1. We still have troops killing and being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the Afghanistan situation is getting worse daily.

2. Iran and North Korea are still pursuing nuclear armaments.

And, we are now $1.8 trillion deeper in doo-doo, and the doo-doo is rising daily.

The Nobel 'Piece' Prize is a political joke, awarded to wussies and nincompoops like Owl Gore, the hypocrite who burns 20 times the national annual average of gas and electricity (equivalent to a 100 ton jumbo rail car of coal per year, stinking up my back yard and causing the very global warming that his pathetic fight against won him the wussy award in the first place), and operates a 2-gallon-per-mile 100 foot houseboat on Center Hill Lake, not to mention the private jetting around the country.
