... Obama's words will be forgotten by most who heard by the end of the week, if not sooner. Those little "pep talks" from people who have a need to tell others how to live their lives [while they exempt themselves from the same standards they preach] last about as long as one meal. Sorry, but I don't need a Tony Robbins or a Barack Hussein Obama to motivate me, and I'm not stupid enough to think people are really going to change because of what Obama said.

I'm not going to trot my ass into inner-city Detroit to try to "love my neighbor" ... I don't want to get my sweet ass shot.

I don't try to walk on a holier-than-thou higher-moral ground with no tangible manifestation of my ideals. I do what I can in everyday life to make the world a better place for those around me, and at the end of each day, I don't suffer any guilt trips ... and I don't really appreciate some dude who has run up the national debt beyond belief to tell me that I need to be 'mo better'. So, if Obama's speech has made a positive impact on your life, then you should be grateful to Obama. For me, it was just another Pol-Op. As his buddy Rahm says, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. ...”
