Those little "pep talks" from people who have a need to tell others how to live their lives [while they exempt themselves from the same standards they preach] last about as long as one meal. Sorry, but I don't need a Tony Robbins or a Barack Hussein Obama to motivate me, and I'm not stupid enough to think people are really going to change because of what Obama said.

I don't try to walk on a holier-than-thou higher-moral ground with no tangible manifestation of my ideals. I do what I can in everyday life to make the world a better place for those around me, and at the end of each day, I don't suffer any guilt trips ... and I don't really appreciate some dude who has run up the national debt beyond belief to tell me that I need to be 'mo better'. So, if Obama's speech has made a positive impact on your life, then you should be grateful to Obama. For me, it was just another Pol-Op.
