I have no problem looking them straight in the face and telling them not to have kids they can't afford... And telling them that they can eitehr starve with their kids, or they can put the kids they can't afford up for adoption.

IMO one of the many, many reasons that folks have kids that they can't afford is that they KNOW that SOMEBODY will always give them enough money to get by...

Do you really think those career welfare moms would have had 8 or 9 kids if they knew that their welfare check was NOT going to get bigger?

To me it is easy. If you can't afford to raise a kid, someone else who can afford it will raise the child. You can go back to school and when you ARE ready to pay for a kid you can have another.

To me, it doesn't matter WHY a parent is unable to raise a child. If they are not capable of taking care of the child, they don't get to keep custody of that child.
