Why, for example, do you think the legal age for marriage has changed? There must be good reasons.

Do you really believe today's teenagers are as mature as in the past?

Even if that were all a foregone conclusion, the fact is that you cannot truly think that what happened was consensual sex, whether adult or not.

That you can justify in your mind in any way what happened suggests that you, too, have had at least a little of the Kool Aid, imo.

But, again the primary difference between our opinions, is probably the way we view the entire issue of sex.

If you are an evolutionist and consider man just another link in the animal chain, then sex as animal behavior is acceptable.

If you believe that man is created in God's image, there is an idea that raises sex to level that reflects a greater expected behavior, appreciation, and attitude, that it is a blessing to be used within the confines of marriage, and to be enjoyed as such, not as a lustful indulgence any time anywhere with anyone you please, devoid of love and responsibility, just because you feel like it.
