GM is re-opening its Spring Hill, Tennessee assembly plant which will mean initial employment of 1,700 people, with 1,100 jobs to be added later.

GM spent $750 million re-furbishing the plant so that it could manufacture any model on short notice, then all economic hell broke loose when Obama came into office, and the plant was mothballed.

Of course, this GM comeback is solely the result of my buying a Cadillac CTS. Dayum, I hate being modest. LOL
