The Republicans are not apologizing for his unrecoverable gaffe. In fact, Romney has called for Akin to step down from his quest for the US Senate.

Democrats ... always irresponsible and in poor taste.

BTW, for the edification of certain folk here, I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat. Either way, you will get a larger, more oppressive federal government that spends us into oblivion because the US Congress, not the President, controls the show and has lost touch with reality, and until we ... that's you and I ... quit acting like kindergarteners, taking political jabs at each other ... get tired of an oppressive federal government, kick all their asses out, and put people in office who are dedicated to reducing the size and cost and invasiveness of government at all levels.
