Subject EbmunbPudWhacker finally confirms he's not Stanford material

But I knew this all along, because I saw his class ring while he was picking his nose ... Wayne State Community College.

Contrary to Ebmumb (sic) PudWhacker's internationally-acclaimed pronouncement, Stanford is in no way "very widely regarded as academically and otherwise superior" to Vanderbilt. It is different, appeals to different faculty and students, but is in no way "superior". The top schools vary in excellence according to specialty, and all are not necessarily excellent in every subject matter. Some of the lower-ranked schools may well excel in certain subject matter over top-ranked schools. If one's interests center in literature and composition, one might choose Kenyon College over Stanford. If one is serious about music, one might consider Indiana over Stanford. If one is Conservatory material, one will choose Julliard or CIM or Eastman over Stanford. If one wants a small, quiet, yet competitive atmosphere, one might choose University of the South at Sewanee over Stanford. Anyone with a modicum of wisdom would view the 20 or so top-ranked universities as a collection of fine wines or whiskeys, each to be appreciated for its intrinsic and distinctive qualities. One does not go around touting the superiority of Four Roses Single Barrel over Maker's Mark, or Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1982 over Chateau Haut-Brion 1989, when one has tasted neither, and punk poseur Ebmumb has tasted neither Stanford nor Vanderbilt.

Yay, Stanford! Sis Boom Zee!

And, now, for the confession, hidden within a wild and rabid harangue.

I've not read and won't be reading the post to which you are replying (as I informed MoFo earlier), but I think I can safely assume that you are referring to the question that has become the burning, soul-consuming obsession of MoFo's life: Did I or did I not attend Stanford University?

How does MoFo "know" (the quotes signifying that, actually, he does not--at least, not yet)? I believe it is largely about projection. MoFo takes it as fact that I did not because he cannot for a moment conceive of himself, were he in my place, refraining from shoving that fact in the face of a taunting troll with every ounce of strength that could possibly be summoned from his ballsack-sagging body. (It would also seem to be the logical "default" presumption to make in the absence of proof either way, considering the fact that only a tiny percentage of the general population can (truthfully) make such a claim in conjunction with consideration of the additional fact that my reference to "the mere mention of the name of a school that just happens to be very widely regarded as academically and otherwise superior to your [the troll's] alma mater" affirms only that I merely mentioned the school's name, not that I claimed to have attended the school. Funny thing is, had I, in fact, attended that school (which I did not), I would never have acknowledged it on this board, and the poor has-been wretch would have gone to his grave calling a Stanford alum a poseur/Stanford alum wanna-be and believing it to be so.

Here is the post (a reply to a top post of DFM's) that pushed MoFo (who was a mere "sideline spectator" up to this point) over the edge:

The Post That Lit The Troll's Fuse

The first paragraph "argued" in favor of one's choosing to lend financial support to an unquestionably worthy, bigotry-free cause in lieu of the alternative of lending money to a cause with the damnable potential to pad the bank account of someone whom I, for one, regard as an anti-Muslim bigot. (Just for the record, if not for DFM's history on this board of maligning the Muslim community at large with nasty swipes of his broad brush I would not have bothered to even touch this thread to begin with.)

The second paragraph--and what the post really was all about--was crafted to introduce and recognize the fact that the only woman ever to reach the pinnacle in regards to a certain historic world-class academic achievement just happened to be a life-long Muslim and native of 99.4% Muslim Iran.

Although the mention of Stanford University was purely incidental to the post's purpose, it packed the power to blow R&E's resident MoFo away like an ankle-biting ant hit by a nuclear blast.

As R&E's reigning King of Poseurs, MoFo is fiercely protective of his title, and the slightest wafting up his ever-sniffing nostrils of a challenge to his throne, real or imagined (as in this case), is capable of knocking him completely off his rocker. So blown away by the mere mention of the word Stanford was this raving narcissistic megalomaniac that he totally lost sight of what the post actually was about and, mercilessly hammered by the resultant onslaught of cerebral dysfunction overwhelming his rattled noggin, totally, astoundingly dropped his infamous and normally inseparable anti-Muslim bigotry by the wayside while a certain Muslims-focused post (that he subsequently made all about Stanford) stared him squarely in the face. What a freak, and what a freakish exhibition of psychotic behavior to behold.

Ta-Ta, Ebmumb. I own you!
