The people, Congress and States are far too divided to meet the ratification requirements defined in The Constitution.

This is not a good situation. It means we are stuck with a well-meaning but virtually unalterable code of law.

It is absolutely ridiculous to grant automatic citizenship to anchor babies of illegal immigrants, tourists, exchange students, people on work visas, etc. Right now, these anchor babies, perhaps children of terrorist sleepers, could legally become President some day.

It is absolutely stupid to let undocumented, unknown people into our country in droves just because they lie and claim they are seeking asylum. We don't have a clue who they are.

So, what do we do?

Our society is showing stress cracks and signs of breakdown. The more diversity we permit, the worse it will get. If it continues, it won't be as simple as North vs South was in 1860s. It will be people against people everywhere.
