"Jeopardy!" is one of the best and most intelligent shows in the vast wasteland of TV. I know it deals with "useless information memorized by rote" (according to merlie and KR), but knowledge is the sign of a good education and memory. Contrary to what merlie 'thinks' Einstein said, the moment when you need to know something in dire circumstances, you might not have access to a facility to look it up. I think that those who disdain knowledge are just defensively covering up for the fact they had a shitty 'edumacashun', and they're too damn lazy to catch up.

One team of 3 won $1 million on the show on Tuesday ... not a bad reward for knowing "useless information memorized by rote".
