I have spent my whole life in software development, and Windows 7 is far worse than that piece of shit called Vista that was rejected by corporate America. When you have millions invested in non-Microsoft software, the last thing you want as a developer is for the monopolistic non-innovative assholes at Microsoft to shut you out. If it were truly a good operating system, it would have forward and backwards compatibility and scalability.
