Beethoven's 1st Piano Concerto is a masterpiece, the best of the series of 5.

Dvorak Symphony # 7 is a masterpiece.

All Tchaikovsky Symphonies suck.

Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto # 1 is a masterpiece.

Tchaikovsky 'Nutcracker Suite' is a masterpiece.

Rachmaninov Piano Concerto # 2 is a masterpiece.

Rachmaninov 'Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini" is a masterpiece.

Mozart Symphony # 40 is a masterpiece. A lot of his other music really sucks ... lacks depth ... but not all of his music.

Bloch's 'Poems of the Sea' is dreadful.

Martinu 'Concerto For 2 Pianos' is a masterpiece.

Schumann 'Des Abends' is a masterpiece.

Sjogren's 'Stämningar' suite is enchanting. Bet you have never heard it.

I studied at Cleveland Institute of Music. I play Chopin, Beethoven and Schumann. I have attended Classical, Jazz and Rock Concerts all over the US. I have 2,500 online CDs, everything from Albeniz to Vivaldi and Widor, Adderly to Zawinul. I have met Szell, Babin, Maazel, Ax, Ohlsson, Levine, Boulez, Leon Fleisher and his lovely wife Kathy, Ahmad Jamal, Branford Wynton Jason and Ellis Marsalis, Ramsey Lewis, Michael Brecker, Dave Brubeck, Bela Fleck, Herbie Hancock, Roy Haynes, Christian McBride, Brad Mehldau, David 'Fathead' Neuman, Joshua Redman, McCoy Tyner, Chico Freeman, and many other Classical and Jazz greats. I have composed music, and I don't shove it down everyone's throat like you do. I know great music when I hear it. I will let you know when you compose something great.
