If I were to guess, you have some sort of software on your computer causing the issue since you've successfully been using Paypal for years. Have you tried downloading a different browser like Safari or Firefox?
I've tried everything. By surfing I found that many people are having the same problem since PayPal became a part of eBay. I mailed a check today for the dues.
