DiscussionApp Forum - Large Number of Subscibers Disappearing

Hello Sean and Tamara,

I have a few concerns regarding our webapp

1. We have receiving a few complaints from our subscribers today and last week that they are no longer receiving messages through their emails. We have been re-subscribing them to remedy the problem.
2. We monitor (monthly) the number of subscribers from the list. It has been at 820+/- subscribers for the last several months. It only fluctuates slightly. I happened to be checking the number of subscibers today and noticed it was at 755. That is down 55 from the 1st of this month. That is very, very unusual.
3. Not sure if these issues are related and perhaps you've changed your bounced email policy. Could you check to see what the problem might be? I realize we could be duplicating subscribers but since we can only see the last 100 subscribers...there is no way to check to see if they are on the list already.

We don't remove addresses unless we receive a "500" series SMTP error code from the subscriber's ISP. A 500 code indicates a permanent error. I apologize for taking so long to reply. I have just... more
