The ability to share posts has been in place since October 2007. If you don't want your visitors to share things, you can hide the button by customizing the buttons under the Appearance section of your Admin page.
Either I've just noticed this or its just popped up but now my readers can SHARE via social media. I do not want this because its the relative security thats always been the most attractive feature.... more
