The best coffee I've ever had was from Blue Bottle in San Francisco. Holy smokes. I can't remember what type of bean it was. I just remember that it was very early in the morning, they operated in something like an industrial warehouse space with a rolled-up aluminum "door," and they were cash only. It felt illicit actually. Illicitly good.
