I’M GETTIN' A HUMMER

All last summer, all I wanted was a Hummer
I knew that it would surely set me free
But I had no money, and it kind of bummed me
It seemed like everyone was getting one but me

But now I’m gettin' a Hummer, and it makes me happy
People see me coming, they stop and stare
It’s an up-and-comer, and it makes me happy
I’m gettin' a Hummer and I just don’t care

She’s a big ol’ guzzler, with a great big muffler
She’s long and low and kinda wide
She’s a steady roller, but I control her
Feels so good when I’m inside

But to be frank, It takes a lot to fill the tank,
I have to fill it twice a day
I know it sounds distasteful, and I know it’s kinda wasteful
But that’s a price that I’m prepared to pay

There’s room in the trunk, for all of my junk
And in the front there’s room to spare
People see me, they want to be me
