Hi,
I have a 1995 TFR. I just rebuilt it. It runs but makes a clacking noise that seems to come from the clutch or motor. It wont idle without me giving it some throttle. At low rpms it goes clack clack clack clack
I already found that the woodruff key was sheared and replaced that.
As well as replacing the clutch shoes and springs because one of the stock shoes had broken. What else can I try to get this thing running properly?

    Check to make sure the flywheel is seated properly. Also check to make sure the flywheel isn't hitting the plastic flywheel cover as it turns. Sometimes the plastic cover gets bent and the flywheel... more
