Thank you for answering. Nicola Di Maio was born in 1856 in Napoli (or Bacoli) Italy. He married Olimpia Gonzalez in Caracas, Venezuela. His children were Giuseppe, Santa, Olimpia and Genaro. If he arrived in New York, it was on his way to Venezuela. He never lived in the United States. He died in 1908 in Naples while on a business trip. I have no info on any of the other members of the family other than on Genaro, my children's grandfather,born 11 Feb, 1900, and who passed away in 1982 in Caracas, Venezuela. I do know that the family is buried in Caracas in the De Mayo (that is how the family name was known in Venezuela) family plot in the Cementerio General del Sur. No records have been found either.
