Hi, I am trying to find out my families past beyond my great-grandfather who immigrated to the US from Foggia Italy to Milford Massachusetts. I'm not sure if from the city Foggia itself or the province. My last name is Niro, but I understand in Italy it may be spelled Nero. My great-grandfather was named Michele, and had three sons born the US, Pasquale, Augustino, and Francis. I have tried ancestory.com to no avail, hoping someone can help.
