I promised Pip I would post this photograph of PO Clarence Charles BENNETT rom Adelaide South Australia
'After the Battle' shows he was in a Blenheim that failed to return from a Mission to Norway

Born Nov 28th 1916
Educated at Kapunda High School, joined the Adelaide Gliding Club and took flying lessons in 1937 at Mount Gambier.
He sailed for England Fe b 2 1939 and joined 238 in November
This was a Coastal Command squadron seconded to Fighter Command in the BOB and in Sept he damaged a Do 18 Flying Boat but was wounded by return fire.
On Oct 1st his Blenheim R362 failed to return from a reconnaisance op to the coast of Norway.
Along with Sgts G B BRASH [ from Edinburgh ] and G S CLARKE [ from Bedford ] they are remembered on the Runnymede Memorial
