Some man need to apologize now, you guys know who you are before I start calling names. Infama pull the archives :) Big Congrats to Allen and Bloom! The SEC is no Joke!
Let me remind the board of the CTFF discussion on Nathon Allen and the expectations a few track fans on the board had on his performances at Carifta 2014. In 2014, Javon Francis ran 45.0 seconds to... more
Was it the claim that Allen was not "Yet" in Cedenio's class? Or was it that he simply was not in Cedenio's class. I remember part of the debate quite well since matrix and I were solid in our view... more
and quite likely the phrase "In cedenio's class" was not used. But speaking for myself, the statistics had shown that at the time, Cedenio was almost a full second faster than Allen. I am not in thee ... more
Here is proof that your argument is flawed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BW5izL7pK2s Nathan ran 46.11 at Carifta trial in 2014, so how exactly is there a second difference between him and Cedenio? ... more
You have selective memory and speak in half truth! This is what I said, Nathan Allan would have beaten, Cedenio, had it not been for the load at Champs, in other words, I felt he was simply tired.... more
------------------- However, you and others were quick to point out that Nathan was nowhere as talented or even in the same class, and this was pure idiotic talk. --------------------- Matrix !!!... more
Elmo,"This discussion was always about the statistics in front of us and whether it was logical to expect Allen to defeat Cedenio at those Carifta games. It was never about Allen's permanent talent... more
but I most definitely remember many people believing in the natural raw talent of Nathan Allen, and his projected ability to run under 46 seconds for the 400m.
is a thread that shows some of the similar supportive sentiment given Allen, regarding his enormous talent: http://disc.yourwebapps.com/discussion.cgi?disc=113916;article=457502 ;
You of all people should have known exactly what I am talking about since you're one of the biggest culprits. Provide something substantive so we can at least debate it. If this was not the argument... more

that is telling on ability pack in lots of quality rounds ..would like to see this race At PENNS he split 44.86 on 4x4 final Next 3 weeks at NCAA finals will tell a lot
lane one and reduce distance ..very crowded ...he needs to be on 2nd leg ... Since their 3rd best 400m man Randall Ceneus 46.33 wont make the individual 400m NCAA final cut ..he can be fresh for... more
if Zoom had run to expectations.A mid 44 leg -a not unreasonable expectation-would have sealed the deal Frankly,that's not the order I prefer,but we would have had the same results. Zoom still has a... more
make the race get away from you like that ..Bloomfield had to run almost the entire leg in outer lanes ..there was no getting into lane 1 at any time without a DQ ... He handed over to Allen in Lane... more
There is a reason why Texas put Fred on the 2nd leg. Zoom should have been on the 2nd leg to match up with Fred and most importantly given his speed try to get to the cut in first to avoid traffic.... more
GONE if he does ..He has never had this support crew EVER on a 4x4 ..he better show up .. Let see how Francis look at Jamaica Invitational ..my hope he is down 45.2x and then take it from there He... more
