What a klutz.

Gaps in her schedule were not precisely rare, but they didn’t happen often. When they did, Tsuga tended to fill them with training on her own, extra work to keep her mind occupied and her limbs busy. But today, she was simply tired. Tired of running non-stop, of working herself to exhaustion. So, when she had discovered an empty block of time today, she had scorned the familiarity of physical fatigue and instead run away to the gardens.

It seemed she was far from the only person tired of routine today. The familiar paths of the gardens – now starting to wither with the bite in the air – were crowded, and in the interest of keeping her own company, she ventured off the usual trails by crashing through a few browning bushes and emerging in a rather deserted square of cleared land.

Most such clearing had a fountain somewhere in them, but this one was barren. It almost looked as though it had been forgotten years ago. And yet, as she turned and looked about, quieting her breathing, she heard a simple melody floating through the air. It was soft and if she hadn’t been listening to the silence, she wouldn’t have noticed it at all.

Curious, she set off through the overgrown trails, following her ears and hoping that they weren’t deceiving her. She tripped over a gnarled old root and burst through a last thin curtain of brambles, crashing into another clearing. This one sported a bench in the shade of and gnarled old tree that looked like it had seen centuries of young lovers stealing a few moments beneath its branches.

And, whether fortunately or not, she now had company. An Accepted was sitting on the bench under the tree, holding a bracelet with a few shiny gems in it. The music had stopped, and Tsuga froze where she stood, looking around in confusion.

“I beg your pardon, I didn’t see that last root.” She bobbed a distracted bow (she had intruded on the girl’s privacy, after all) and began easing back into the bracken. “It’s just that I thought I heard someone playing music . . ..”

OOC: Hope you don't mind her crashing in. ^_^ She's Shienaran, on the tall side, short brown hair that she recently chopped off to about two inches long, and brownish eyes. Lol.
