A little late ! (attn:anyone)
Sat Jan 6, 2007 1:45pm

Khaji took a deep breath. She been here only months and already a new year would begin. It really was the end of her old life. She needed to hold onto the memories. She still wasn't sure she wanted to be here. She had a plan slowly developing, but had no way to execute it. She grumbled to herself, and set her books down on her desk. She had only a short period before the lights were lite. Luckily I get to wear white!

She glanced at herself in the mirror. "Oh man. I have smudges all over my face! Stupid stupid Brown. She had me scribing before the festival." She grumbled to herself, and tried to remove the smudges. IT only worsened them. She sighed and settles for a smudge faced Novice at the Feasts of Lights. She didn't want to miss the beginning; she knew for certain it would be fabulous. She loved the Feast of Lights back home and had heard many tales of the splendor of Tar Valon.

She scurried out of her room and down the hall to the Entrance Hall. She was late! The Amrylin was already speaking, with the Keeper at her side. She cursed under her breath, and stood on her tiptoes to see. Nothing! She sent another flamboyant curse at the Brown who'd rather study than join in the festival. She leaned her back against the wall, settling for listening to the Amrylin's speech.

It was a spectacular sight. Khaji looked around her at the other revelers. She tried to squeeze through the crowd to get a better look to no avail. She sighed and only had managed to make herself even farther away. Bloody Ashes. She snuck out a side hall, decided to leave the crowd of people behind. She would see the lighting of the candles. All the windows would be lite beautifully. She figured the garden would be a good spot. She ran as fast as she could to her favorite seats.
