IGI has an entry for marriage of Henry Spence HOGARTH to Lucy BAKER 8 Oct 1785, Pinner, London. It is a submitted record and they are suspect but since it has a firm date it may be a true record of some parish; rather than some of the made up rubbish which I've seen.

IGI also has birth of Henry Spence HOGARTH "about 1760" and references his wife Lucy BAKER who he married 8 Oct 1785 so this is obviously not a record of his birth but a pure guess by some LDS person desparate to "baptise" their ancestor.

IGI has a chistening of Henry Spence 30 dec 1763, St James' Westminster, London to John HOGARTH & Mary, batch C135507.
Now this record we can probably trust: though it would be worth viewing the actual record or a photographic image of it to verify the transcripr and see if there is additional data.

Since the family seem quite well off they probably left wills and these can be got from the National Archives for 3.50 online.

Sorry I should have made it clearer that George Alexander Hogarth is a son of Henry Spence Hogarth and brother of Rev John Henry Hogarth.
