Heston Hogarths

I am a descendant of Henry Spence Hogarth of Rickmansworth. I have read several wills of the family now which clearly links him to George Alexander Hogarth Apothecary Bristol. Although his father John Hogarth apothecary surgeon leaves his money and houses in Vigo Lane to his eldest son John, they are then passed to his sister Sarah, who then passes the houses to George Alexander Hogarth. Henry Spence Hogarth inherits his money via the Spence family who owned Ford Place before the Hogarths. However, I am struggling to find where John Hogarth (1714-1798) came from. He is down as living in St James in 1744 when he married Mary Spence. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
