2011 - The year of the mobile version?

Happy New Year!

Folks, it's been a few years since I looked at this. I apologize, real life has got in the way a bit. Now I'm back with cycles to spare on this.

In fact, when I brushed the dust off the VM this evening, I see that the guest OS on the build platform is Windows 2000. Yikes...

But the good news is that the system still builds. So yes, I'll get that Italian translation and French translation recompiled. And I've fixed a few bugs. So there should be a V4 coming down the pipe fairly soon.

However here's something really interesting: I had a particularly interesting meeting this evening with a friend who has encouraged me to ask you guys all the following question:

If - and I stress this is an if - this were to be ported to a mobile device, what mobile device would you want this to be running on?

My best wishes to you all - again, my bad for taking a while to post here, however I'm back!

Did the MDDClone author ever say he chose iOS to develop a mobile version?

Another vote here for Android - not entirely for the selfish reason that I just got a new Android-powered phone! I'm planning on learning the Android platform over the next couple of months and have... more

I SO don't wanna get into a flamewar, but anyone who develops for Android is a FOOL. Have you seen iOS's numbers lately? And with Android, there's no "App Store", as such. Talk to any Android dev.... more

Is there a glut of shovelware & garbage in the AppStore? Absolutely. As Steve Jobs himself says: "We have enough fart apps, thank you." But apparently this hasn't stopped titans of the gaming... more

              1) I don't believe that the Ipad represents a serious danger to the Xbox 360 and the PS3 (the "present" of gaming), even with comparable graphical capabilities. An Xbox 360 is 280 €; a PS3 is 308 €;... more

Do you really want the MDDClone author to port his program to a device made in 1997, with a monochrome screen, a 68000-based processor and 512 KB of RAM? Maybe you just meant a Palm smartphone, but... more
