As I said in the other thread, I hope it will be ready before the end of June. In order to give you realistic expectations, here are a few things that I decided I will never put in: - realistic interplanetary distances (they would hamper interplanetary flight = not gonna happen) - an autopilot feature in a spacecraft you fly yourself (the resulting game would resemble Frontier more than Mercenary = not gonna happen) - differentiation between running and walking (the "walk" speed in Mercenary games was deliberately made too slow to be useful, so I decided to make the Mercenary always move at running speed)
Also, please, don't get too excited for hype you create yourself. If you do that, at the end you might be disappointed, because you would compare the actual product, not with something real, but with a product of your imagination. That's a widespread behavior, and ironically I just finished posting something like this in the Gearbox forum, where some people STILL believe that Gearbox "cheated" them with Duke Nukem Forever (which is actually better than any Call of Duty game) because they compare the actual product with a mental simulacrum they produced themselves.
