That project is called LaunchMFD. It's an essential navigational tool for Orbiter Space Flight Simulator and can be found here:

I also do car navigation software at my daily job, and the LaunchMFD helped me to get the job, and helps me during the job in both experience and direct reuse of code. Here's a note for you Simone - well Object Oriented classes can be used not only in your fun, private projects.
