Life had not been going her way these last few weeks, nothing had. She didn't know what to do, or how she was to do the things that she wanted to do. What was wrong with her? She tried to tell herself that it was just stress that was making her feel the way she was, but it made no sense to her as it was. She didn't feel all that stressed, and really the only thing was that she was worried about Blaesius, so why was she feeling the way she was? She had been feeling sick for weeks now, and she still didn't know what was wrong, and she still didn't want to bother others with it. Even Blaesius, who felt everything she did; she had no wish to bother him either. She would deal with it on her own, like she was so used to doing, as she had done for many years. She could not bear it if others had to take care of her, even though that is what she needed the most. She needed to be cared for at a time like this. She didn't know why her emotions were running away from her at this time, but she knew it couldn't be anything good. She had always been illogical at best, but this was ridiculous.

The only thing she could attribute these moods to was the imminent trip to her home town that she had not seen in almost two decades. For the most part, she had no wish to go see Caemlyn at this time, but she knew she must. She wanted to see her siblings before she was stuck in the Tower for longer. Even though she dreaded the thought of what the results might be, she also wanted to see her mother. Her mother...the woman that had sent her here. The one that had brought pain into her life, and had set her on the path that had led to her attempted suicide. Teli hoped that past faults could be forgiven, and that misunderstandings could be resolved, but after eighteen years of that not happening, Teli couldn't see it ever occurring, no matter how she begged her mother to understand. So, despite all that, Teli had to go, and try to make her family understand. She wanted to go home to say goodbye once and for all, like she wasn't able to do when she was first taken to the White Tower. Maybe it was foolish to want to resolve the past, but Teli wanted to try, at least, if nothing else, she just wanted her mother to listen to her side of the story.

It took all she had to not start pacing herself, akin to what her Bondmate was now doing. His irritation flooded over the Bond like all emotions did, as well as feelings. Suddenly, pain shot up her arm, but when she looked down, nothing was there. She knew that Blaesius must have injured himself, but she could tell that he hadn't left his quarters. Teli shook her head and sighed. What was she to do? She didn't know what to do. She couldn't control herself, how was she supposed to help Blaesius? Silent tears began to roll down her cheeks unbidden, and unwanted. She quickly swept them away with the palms of her hands, not wanting to let depression catch her in its snares again. She had had plenty of that lately, she didn't need help from the pain in her arm.

Teli nearly jumped out of her chair when she felt Blaesius begin to act upon something. She wasn't sure what he was doing, but it was...strange to her. Not long afterwards, she felt him coming towards her quarters, and not knowing what to expect, Teli curled herself into the chair that she was sitting in. She waited there for him, afraid of what he was doing, because she didn't know what was going on. She watched as he opened the door to her chambers, and that was when she saw the bags, and then she knew. Without a word, Teli embraced saidar and then gathered her things to start packing herself. Most of what she was taking had been packed in advance, not knowing when they were to leave, but some things she still had to find a place for. It wasn't long before she had everything ready. She looked over at Blaesius, and gave a small smile. Words failed her, but a sense of dread befell her that she didn't understand. Whatever was to come, would come, and there was nothing these two Aes Sedai could do to stop it.
