From the depths he returns

Fheivir woke up the morning with a splitting headache. What have I done this time. He was surprised he hadn't gotten a message from the M'Hael himself. I have to keep going. He left a few days out of his routine and already felt horrible for being out of touch with things for so long. "Ugh." He said as he sat up in his bed. Morning...again...this time I guess I'll get up.

He stood up and got dizzy. Why am I so out of it? He got dressed and walked outside. The lesson postings weren't very interesting, nothing outside of the ordinary. More of the same. Weapons. Tactics. Battle. I need a change for once. Just as he thought of change, he noticed a lesson that jumped out at him. In his eyes it seemed like a battlefield medic course. Not something he'd need but something that would be extremely useful. Our channelers are always getting injured before they can do any serious damage...

He walked over to the infirmary and cursed himself under his breath as he saw that he was more than likely late.

"...death in the wrong hands." He heard just as he was getting within earshot of the male and female channelers. More death, and why does my head feel so bad. The fresh air should have fixed that for me. "...improperly..." Fheivir had hear similar speeches from almost every lesson he went to. Power can be harmful if used in the wrong hands. Of course it could, that was the nature of power.

Yet again, as with every lesson, the instructors wanted his rank, track, and so on. So he gave it the same way he gave it every time. In his turn and without any attempt to bring attention on himself. "I'm Soldier Fheivir. In my late teens, training to be an officer." His turn passed without any problems. Great, just the same as every other time. I've been a soldier way too long. Now with that cursed Lysander as the M'Hael I doubt I'll ever get anywhere in this light forsaken place. Fheivir was taken aback by his own thoughts. That's unusual. True...but unusual.

Fheivir knew he'd been in his room for several days, but the more he thought about it the less he understood why. As soon as I get out of this lesson I'm going to find out what's going on. And that bloody M'Hael better have nothing to do with it. Fheivir's face turned into a vehement frown. No one looked at him, they had no reason to. By the time he straightened his face back into a cold emotionless one the group was finished introducing themselves to the instructors. Fheivir was completely enveloped in his own thoughts and almost missed the first instructions.

OOC: Wow, I'm back in action and it feels good.
