It's so annoying when that happens. I do family trees but I've no relatives left to ask anything. I've a collection of letters my dad sent to his mum from being called up in the army & up to his release. But obviously there is nothing about the death march. Do you have a name for the soldier your uncle carried.

          My dad dies in 1989 so that rules that out. If you know where your uncle was buried try the local papers at the library to see who attended the funeral. I've found stuff out from family trees that... more
