Super-conducting loop

The void, it was something that was constantly talked about during lessons and to tell the truth Sarin never could get a hold of utter calm within his mind. Every time he had tried to find this void, this flame that you had to put everything in your mind into and clear it so you could focus on the weapon you happen to be handling at the time, the flame simply went out.

"It isn't easy, but when fighting, it can control any emotion. You and your sword are one, you fight together."

Sarin shook his head; you and your sword were to be opposite halves of a super-conducting loop that started from him and ended on the tip of his sword. He smiled just a bit, he would like that feeling of complete calm, the feeling that the sword you held in your hands was always meant to be there and nothing else.

Right away Sarin knew which discipline he would be using, Scales of Power, even if he liked to think otherwise he was a rather large and bulky AethaníTar and anything that required overpowering your opponent seemed to be the thing that would actually best fit him.

He idly listened to the teacher explain the other disciplines thinking that even if he chose one he might need to know the others incase he found himself against an opponent who didnít opt for the same one as he had planned on using from the start.

He turned to find another starring at him and was given a slight nod of the head to, the man turned his head back to the teacher as he did and Sarin smirked and glanced back also.

Sarin started to watch closely as the teacher began to inform them on the stances, and Taer'Val seemed to right off catch his attention. He enjoyed the idea of holding the sword at his waist with the point pointing towards itís victims neck ready for when ever Sarin gave the order to start the fight.

The other stances passed and JiíVal also caught the attention of the young AethaníTar, when the time came to grab their lathes Sarin was almost first in line. He picked them up in his right hand and nodded at the teacher, ďScales of Power seems to be the one for me, and it seems I am rather torn between TaeríVal and JiíVal.Ē

He nodded and went to find himself a space where he would not be interrupted by one of the others in the lesson but would also still be able to hear the teacher. He found his area and started in on what seemed right, holding the sword in Taer'Val and looking up for the teacher to start shouting out what it was he actually wanted them to do.

Luckily, the first one announced was Taer'Val and Sarin simply slid his feet to make sure he was in the right stance. It seemed right, and who knows it quite possibly could have been. But either way the stance suddenly shifted to JiíVal and Sarin followed suit. JiíVal felt slightly easier and in time of holding it Sarin started to lean in its direction and figured that this stance was one for him. MosievíVal was announced next and Sarin tried his best to fall into the stance, it looked a bit odd but was correct enough for it to pass as the stance.

RahieníVal was next and Sarin oddly tried his best to stand in the right form, and it looked a bit odd as if the manís mind was wrestling with his body. In the end it looked good enough for Sarin, he took in a deep breath.

So far he had done his best with out the void, and he knew in time he would have to get it down. But for now the sword stances would have to be done with thoughts in his mind, he wanted that feeling of the super-conducting loop and over time he figured it would end on the edge of his sword. But for now he was only half, and for now that would have to do.
