Value of Highlander Sword?

I have a sword that was given to me by someone who just wanted to get rid of it. I also have someone interested in buying it. I would just like to get an idea of what it is worth.

It is like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Highlander-Kurgan-Sword-by-Marto-of-Toledo-Spain-HI596S-/230997166745?hash=item35c8810a99%3Ag%3AMBAAAOxyGStRthgh&nma=true&si=i7aM8NQbmEY3B0Q4lt9BKmBUgL4%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

It has stamped on the blade, Ser# 0550, Highlander, UC2613, Mfr by United Cutlery, ęDavis Merch. Corp.

On the part that looks like it is to reinforce the blade at the handle end, on both sides of the blade, is stamped "China" on the edge of that part that faces toward the tip of the blade.

The sword looks to me like it is in very good shape, with very minor wear on the handle (I'm told that the guy who owned it was a martial arts instructor and this was only used for weight training). The blade looks untouched, as it appears to have never been used to strike anything. There are no marks on the metal anywhere.

The one I linked to above sold for $1403, but this one isn't made in Spain, and has no box or certificate.

My question is this - if you were selling this sword to someone that you were an acquaintance with, how much would you ask, and how much would you allow yourself to be talked down?

Thank you!
