I am assuming that the puppy has a cast on the leg? I would just talk to the vet to see what bone is broken and how the vet believes the recovery will go. A broken bone is not necessary a big deal, happens to animals and people all the time. If it is a clean cut break should heal fine, it the bone was shatered that might be differant. Talk to the vet and then make a decision. OR if the pup has a cast you can wait until the cast comes off and vet give a clean bill of health.

      I'd want to be sure that the break(s) aren't along any of the pup's growth plates, as this could impact his/her ability to grow properly and evenly.
